EDUCATION AND TRAINING ARE INVESTMENT, RATHER THAN COST!

In the companies providing vocational training, students spend two to three days a week studying and gaining experience regarding how they can be more effective and efficient in working with others and resolving problems. Such skills can be developed better and more easily in a genuine work environment. But, what is the real benefit for the companies involved in dual education?

BENEFITS FOR THE COMPANY

  • The company gets trained and motivated labour which has adopted the company identity.
  • The young who have been brought up in a system of vocational training are a source of new energy and innovations, and a generational shift ensures a future for the company business.
  • The company impacts the programme – the educational subject matter and the method of learning - in accordance with its needs.
  • The company has reduced costs of staff recruitment, considering that this method facilitates direct monitoring of the performance of the assignments and the abilities of each student/worker.
  • In the last year of training, the student starts to produce or provide services practically independently, thus contributing to an increase in the profit generated by the company, thereby ensuring a return on investment.

COMPANY INVESTMENT

Structure of company investment in vocational training:

  • training costs per capita ~ 55%
  • instructors' salaries ~ 30%
  • equipment utilized ~ 5%
  • other costs ~ 5%

ROLE OF THE COMPANY

If the company wishes to obtain a really well-trained worker, its major role is to ensure high-quality implementation of the programme. This is possible only if the company appoints the best performer of a certain occupation as its instructor. Such instructor is then responsible for training the students on the basis of the programme. In the event there is a need to change the programme, the instructor will notify Klett DUAL School accordingly and will cooperate with the teachers in reference to further adjusting the content of the programme.
