The Klett headquarters in Rotebühlstraße 77, Stuttgart in the 30s. The print shop takes up the largest part of the Klett business, and also of the building. Under the roof of the building only a few rooms are reserved for the publishing house. During the lunch break one plays football in the backyard.

Our origins

Klett Präsenzlernen Osteuropa GmbH launched a project for the implementation of dual education in Serbia, managed by its new Belgrade Branch  (Klett EDU training center). The Project is co-financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Science in collaboration with another two project partners from Germany, for a period of 3 years. One partner, ISW GmbH, is responsible for developing curricula and programs, while the other one, the University of Applied Sciences Albstadt-Sigmaringen, is in charge of monitoring the project from the academic perspective.

We foster a culture of professional openness and kindness. Our teachers, our Principal, and in particular, the Secretariat of the center are always an accessible professional and friendly support for both our students and companies. We are focused on the educational progress of each individual student, complying with the rules set by Klett EDU center.

Instruction provided by Klett EDU center takes place in the pleasant atmosphere of classrooms equipped in accordance with modern standards; it has been organized in accordance with up-to-date technologies, being adjusted to the needs of the students. We use creative methods and teaching aids, such as case studies, projects, role plays, as well as digital textbooks. On-line team work and using social networks are an integral part of our program.

Ferdinand Ayen (MA), CEO Stuttgart

Ferdinand has over 12 years of experience in multi-national business development projects. Among others, he has worked as a long-term consultant in international projects at Bosch, Bayer Cropscience and Knauf Gips. The change to Klett-Gruppe in 2012 led to a focus on business development for the educational sector: initially textbook digitalization projects (Switzerland and Slovenia) and, since 2016, dual education in Eastern Europe. In 2017, Ferdinand Ayen became the CEO of Ernst Klett Präsenzlernen Osteuropa GmbH, the provider of Klett EDU in Serbia.

Jelena Jakovljević, Program director              

Jelena has gained experience at the Institute for the Advancement of Education, the Ministry of Education and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce as Deputy Director of the Education Sector, where she participated in the drafting of the Law on dual education. Jelena is a Visiting Lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, and has gained experience in business at Trudbenik, Energoprojekt and as a consultant to the Prevent Group in Visoko, BiH. As an andragog, at Klett EDU center, Jelena is in charge of organizing and accrediting programs, training teachers and instructors at companies, and guiding students in accordance with the education plan and program.

Olivera Gvozdenov, Director

Olivera has extensive professional experience that she has built in domestic and international business, for the past twenty years. She has worked as Sales Director of A Hotel chain and Director of Financial Institutions at KBC Bank & Verzekering. She truly believes that education is an endless process that enriches our character and brings out the best of us. In January 2019, she was awarded the Executive MBA title at the prestigious Cotrugli Business School. As the main Principal at Klett EDU center, Olivera is in charge of business development, introducing new products with regards to adult education and leading the team.

Ivana Injac, Communications Director

Ivana is working in marketing and communications for more than 20 years. She has gained various experience working in the Southeast Europe for Saatchi & Saatchi advertising, and large international corporations Henkel and Philip Morris International. During her career, she has worked in marketing and communications across a number of brands and with various target groups, then developing and optimizing portfolios, innovating and launching new products, quantitative and qualitative market and consumer research, employer branding - internal and external communication, and digital interactive training platforms for employee development and training.

Slobodan Drašković, Key Expert and Mechatronics Team Leader

Zorica Čugalj Stojanović, Program coordinator

Zorica studied German language and literature at the University of Belgrade. She has twenty years of experience in renowned international companies in the construction industry (Austrotherm, Murexin, and Rehau) in the administration, logistics and marketing sectors. At Klett EDU center, Zorica is one of the key members of the team as she is responsible for coordinating all of the operational tasks and projects, including administrative affairs and logistics.

Nenad Seljišta – expert associate

Nenad completed his basic vocational studies at SP ASUV in 2013 at the High School of Electrical Engineering and Computing Vocational Studies in Belgrade. He is a member of the "WE-SHARE Robotics" team. He participated in the modernization of the laboratory for automatic control and the development of various laboratory equipment and apparatus using PLC devices for the education of students at the Higher School of Electrical Engineering and Computing of Vocational Studies..

   Slobodan has been an associate of the Klett EDU center since January 2019. His extensive experience and expertise are very important for the development of professional segments and the development of mechatronics programs. As a key representative of the expert team, Slobodan has a variety of responsibilities that include decisions about the theoretical and practical content of our programs, planning, coordination and implementation of state-of-the-art equipment.
